Year 7 and 8
Students in Years 7 and 8 are offered the opportunity to explore the breadth and depth that the Australian Curriculum has to offer. They study the core subjects of Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Health & Physical Education, French and Life Skills.
Years 7 and 8 students are introduced to the Arts (Art, Music, Drama and Dance) and Technologies, both a range of Design Technologies (Food / Food, Fibre and Production - Agriculture / Materials) and Digital Technology through rotations that last for a term.
The subjects follow the Australian Curriculum, available at the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority website, ACARA. We are currently transitioning from version 8.4 to version 9 of the Australian Curriculum.
